A court can be described as a formal legal meeting in which evidence about crimes, disagreements, is presented to a judge and often a jury so that decisions can be made according to the law.
Records and briefs are the papers which were submitted to or generated by a court in a particular case, from the complaint or the indictment to pleadings, motions, orders, transcripts of the trial, jury verdicts, and associated materials.
The records and briefs used by the court are stored using the traditional filing system which can be time consuming to sort through when looking or searching for case files.
This research project, Design and Implementation of a Computerized Documentation system for Court Proceedings will process a system where cases, appeals and verdicts could be filed and easily retrieved by advocates in the justice system.
